“Truly wonderful, relaxing holiday”
The accommodation was wonderful - far better than expected, very tasteful and felt like a real home.
Everything that we needed was provided and to a very high standard.
The garden was lovely, with superb views.
The views were amazing.
Laying in bed in the morning watching the boats on the River Dart was idyllic.
Steep climb to house - Dartmouth is very hilly!
No parking outside, but that is the same for most properties there - had no problems parking in the town car park and only a short walk there.
Local Gems
Day trip to Salcombe, Overbecks Garden and Museum, Blackpool Sands.
Trip on the Kingswear steam train and a tour by boat up the river.
Anzac Street Bistro.

“Exceeded expectations in every way - we will return!”
The views were exceptional, waking up to watch the traffic on the River Dart with a cup of tea in bed was a brilliant way to start each day.
Excellent furnishings, equipment and decor.
A small but lovely garden with views over the town and river.
It is very central and you can be in the shops, pubs, restaurants in minutes.
Be Aware:It’s hilly and the house is on three floors.
There is no on-street parking but you are provided with a pass for a local public car park and this worked really well - even at a peak period (Easter) we had no problems. Once you find the short cut, it is just a couple of minutes’ walk to the car
The Tower Inn, Slapton (the entrance to the car park is difficult but the food is excellent).
The fish & chip shop in the High Street, Dartmouth - only two minutes from the house.
The Cherub Inn, Higher Street, Dartmouth (again, very close to Onedin House)
