“Could we please book our annual holiday here from now on - - quote from mother-in-law”
My in-laws spend their holidays in Norfolk each year so seen a lot, been to lot of places. But they were absolutely gobsmacked by the cottage and its lovely interior. The welcome pack is a lovely touch. The cottage was far more better equipped than we expected, should we known it we wouldn’t have taken half the stuff with us from home.
There is Sky TV, loads of board games, domino, cards to entertain yourselves.
Our dogs felt at home immediately, and the secure garden was a real bonus (the fence is only 3 feet high but as our dogs do not jump or escape it was ok with us)
The cottage is in walking distance to the village and the beach, which is lovely and perfect place to walk your dogs. The pub in the village is brilliant, and dog-friendly.
Leave your mobile phones and other electronic devices at home as there is no WiFi in the cottage and hardly any mobile coverage..... Complete breakaway from it all....
Be Aware:Be aware that though the cottage is on a quiet road, there are helicopters flying over it every morning at 7. But we took it as a good indicator of time without looking at our watches!
Local Gems:Would recommend the pub nearby - the Lighthouse Inn, brilliant food and lovely staff and the beach at Sea Palling.
Though we could not try it but there is a fishmonger-crab shop on the way to the village (pls note it is closed Sun-Tues) but would have loved to shop there.

Owner’s Reply:’’What a lovely quote from your mother in law - we’d be pleased to welcome you all back at Bramble Cottage anytime. Installing Wi-Fi is on the cards, so do check back as it may be installed at a later date as it’s useful even when you’re on holiday nowadays. The helicopters don’t fly past all the time, it must have been a particularly busy week for training, but you may get the odd tractor instead! Thank you for your lovely review’’ - Debbie

“Perfect dog-friendly cottage for a refreshing relaxing holiday”
Bramble Cottage is in the countryside but within walking distance of a village that had a a very friendly pub and coffee shop. There are a number of country and seaside walks without having to get into the car.
The dogs adored running on the sandy beaches. It was well placed to explore the local area. The cottage was warm and had everything we needed as well as being easy to keep clean. There was a lovely courtyard garden which meant the dogs could go outside and not get muddy paws.
We went to a number of pubs all within 10 miles and each one was very friendly, and allowed dogs in. We’ll certainly be back!
It was warm and cosy nicely furnished with everything that was needed full of character.
Local Gems:The beaches and the dog-friendly pubs.
En Route:Thetford
