“Fantastic dog-friendly holiday”

Farthing Cottage was so warm and cosy, very well equipped with everything you need for us and dogs.

The welcoming goodies were great - dogs loved the biscuits. We had some fantastic walks around the area and on beach - four very tired dogs.

The log burner was fantastic after coming back from a chilly November walk. There is a welcoming pub just up the road and a friendly shop close by. Would recommend this as great dog-friendly holiday.

Summary:

“Perfect getaway...food for the soul”

After a really challenging year wanted to get away with my five Collies - three are young and just learning the ropes and I wanted us all to have a relaxing us holiday and beautiful Farthing Cottage allowed us to do that.

The cottage very well equipped, the garden secure with sun throughout the day and the facilities just perfect. A slate floor throughout the ground floor and a stair gate meant that the cottage was very dog-friendly. The village is quiet with a lovely local shop and pub and a quiet dog-friendly beach just two miles away. Telly and Wi-Fi made it home-from-home and it was clean and cosy.

Thank you for a wonderful stay - will definitely be back. The welcome pack of local milk, bread, jam, cake and homemade dog treats was a lovely touch.

Specifically Recommend:

Secure garden for dogs and quiet village.

Local Gems:

The local shop had every thing you could need and there was a Tesco Express less than two miles away.

The Local beach in Mundersley was perfect for the dogs to run free.

Summary:

“Best equipped holiday cottage ever”

Very quiet and peaceful. Cottage was superb - one of the best equipped places we have stayed in. Well thought out with everything we needed for us and the dogs.

The slate floors were reassuring as we had an elderly dog and did not need to worry about accidents. I think families and dog owners would be equally happy there.

We had a disability scooter on hire from Cromer and were able to keep it in the garage which was a bonus

Check out every cupboard early on as it took us a few days to notice some of the many things provided
